Hormozgan University Of Medical Sciences
Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences (HUMS) is a medical university that was established after the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1987. Initially founded as the School of Nursing and Midwifery with 98 students, the university expanded to include the School of Medicine with 140 students a month later. HUMS now consists of seven schools, including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing & Midwifery, Paramedical, and Health, with over 3,320 students studying in 16 fields of medical sciences, and 300 academic staff.
Located in a prime location and equipped with modern equipment and skilled professionals, HUMS is dedicated to providing quality education to its students and delivering a range of health services to the province. As the field of higher education continues to evolve, countries worldwide create and modify their own systems of higher education to meet their needs and objectives.
